Compelling reasons for your business

Session Initiated Protocol (SIP) is the IP equivalent of ISDN, calls are delivered and made over the internet, or private IP network reducing call costs and line rental. For example SIP has a 60% lower rental than standard ISDN, and can offer lower call rates to most locations. If you have multiple branches connected via SIP, whether in one or many countries calls are free calls between sites.

SIP can be used to protect your business from ISDN failure or simply have the ability to relocate your business due to a temporary or permanent office move. Telephone numbers over SIP have no location dependence, we have clients with local London numbers published in Spain, Gibraltar and South Africa and international numbers within the UK. Not only does this lower international country call charges, it may also enhance your customer presence and service for new markets.

Any existing BT number can be move to IP ensuring you keep your numbers even if you move out of your current exchange area. For example, if you are located in London with a 0208 or 0207 number, and move to Watford, you can take your telephone number/s with you.

Another example of where we see the growth in the use of SIP trunks is call conferencing. If your organisation frequently makes use of external conference services these can become very costly. With SIP Trunks and our own solution “IP Smartbox”, you may expand the number of lines you have to facilitate local call conferencing facilities.
